sunday mornings

At Pluckemin Church, we want worship to be the best hour of your week! That's why every service is carefully planned to help worshipers to come into God's presence in ways that inspire, inform, challenge, and heal. We proudly follow a traditional Presbyterian order of worship, but no one would accuse us of being stuck in the past.

9 - 9:45am (Sept - June) Age 3 to Sixth Grade. We believe that church should be a safe and fun place for your children to learn about God's love. Enrolling your children in Pluckemin  Churches Sunday School Program gives them an opportunity to experience our dedicated and creative Sunday School teachers who can't wait to share God's love with your children. Sunday school takes place Sunday mornings from September through June at 9am. While your children enjoy our rich and rewarding program try attending our Adult Sunday School class that takes place at the same time. Don't worry if your child is under 3 years old, our professionally staffed nursery can assist you during your morning worship activities. Children's worship

We like to start off our Worship services with our children by our side. After the children's message, Pre-K children through 3rd grade can leave the sanctuary and go to Children's Worship for a fun filled worship experience geared specifically for them. Children of all ages are welcome to worship with their parent(s) in the Sanctuary. The ushers will provide you with activity bags that include crayons and coloring pages. The church library serves as a "crying room" there you can listen to the worship service and have easy access to the changing table in the Women's rest room.

adult education

9:00-9:45am (Sept - June)  Child care is provided. Growing together in faith is very important to all of us at Pluckemin. Our Adult Education program is flush with class offerings. Open to everyone, Adult Education strives to offer high-quality educational opportunities and enriching experiences for all ages in our adult community. Our program offerings are often led by doctoral students, pastoral staff and other informed leaders who seek to offer opportunities for you to grow in your faith, deepen your understanding of the Christian life, and enjoy the fun and fellowship a church family can bring! Come, sit in on a class as together we learn where God will lead us.

We celebrate The Lord's Supper (communion) on the first Sunday of every month. Communion Sunday is also Family Sunday where your children remain in worship with you. All baptized people are welcome, regardless of your denominational background.

Interested in Baptism for yourself or your child? Contact the church office for more information: 908-658-3346. We would love to help you.
