To be part of a community means we share in and feel each other's joy and pain.

One of the most powerful things we can do for somebody is to pray.

When a community prays together, for each other, it deepens our feeling of belonging and unifies us as a body of believers.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 says, " Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."

By praying together for our common needs, struggles, and times of celebration, we are able to encourage and support other believers.

It is an opportunity to come together in the spirit of community unity, in a spirit of love and caring for one another, and in the spirit of deep empathy.

Prayers for Don Couch and his family as Don, who has lung cancer,is going through many different tests and procedures as well as chemo. Don, as we know, was a very active choir member as well as a medical minister volunteer.

Please join me praying for completion of an enormous financial transaction that has been dragging on for several years. I plan to use proceeds to support missions around the world. I am confident spiritual conflict is hindering completion. Pray for ruling in my favor and release of funds. Thank you!

Please pray for Don and his family as they struggle through a difficult time finding the best care for his dad who is suffering with dementia. Please pray for the doctors' wisdom and space at the facilities that can give his Dad the best and kindest care.

Please pray for our friends Matt and Erica whose 2 year-old son was killed in a tragic accident on Saturday.

Thank you very much for all of your thoughts and prayers for my Dad, William Ilavsky, who passed away recently.
