To be part of a community means we share in and feel each other's joy and pain.

One of the most powerful things we can do for somebody is to pray.

When a community prays together, for each other, it deepens our feeling of belonging and unifies us as a body of believers.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 says, " Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."

By praying together for our common needs, struggles, and times of celebration, we are able to encourage and support other believers.

It is an opportunity to come together in the spirit of community unity, in a spirit of love and caring for one another, and in the spirit of deep empathy.

Prayers for Hope, a college student in Michigan who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Safe travels back to her Pennsylvania family and home, where she will start treatment this week.

Praise God for the successful kidney transplant for my dear Cousin Peggy Begin. Miraculously her daughter Tracy was almost a perfect match and eldest daughter donated one of her kidneys to her Mom. Both are doing great and God worked this miracle as Peggy was on dialysis three times a week and now no dialysis needed. Amen!! Please pray for her as she continues to heal. The doctors said they haven't seen such a match besides identical twins. Thank you Lord Jesus!!!

Prayers for my friend Ray G. as he enters hospice. His wife, Roe, asks for prayers that he is comfortable, at peace, and not afraid.

Prayers for Clair, a nine year old friend of my granddaughter, who has been diagnosed with Leukemia. She is currently going through Chemo and having a difficult time.
