"DECK THE HALLS" CHRISTMAS CRAFTS, CAROLS, AND COOKIES

DECEMBER 1ST AT 11:30aM-1:30PM

Join us in Fellowship Hall for a fun, family event at 11:30am on December 1st immediately following worship. Decorate (and eat!) as many Christmas cookies as you like and make Christmas crafts to take home with you. Each craft will relate to a well-known Christmas Carol, and we'll sing them at the end!  Warm up on a cold December morning and experience joy in your hearts while your hands make preparations for Christmas.

Tree Lighting and Concert DECEMBER 7TH AT 5:00PM

We invite the community to a free, indoor choral and handbell Christmas concert in Fellowship Hall at Pluckemin Presbyterian Church, located at 279 Route 202-206, Pluckemin, NJ. The concert will be followed by an outdoor tree lighting and caroling. A great event for everyone to experience the joy leading up to Christmas! Cookies and cocoa included!

Messy Church Christmas DECEMBER 10TH AT 6PM

We continue our celebration with Messy Church, our once a month on the second Tuesday church experience that celebrates the messiness of everyday life!  This monthly, mid-week gathering is intended for children, parents, and grandparents to come together for dinner provided by the church, a brief Christian message, music and a craft or game appropriate for all in attendance.

“Messy Church” encourages kids and adults to get their hands dirty, learn from each other and just have fun, while eliminating the “age silos” that result from separate worship experiences common in most churches.

Registration is required so we know how much food to have!

a service of Lessons and Carols DECEMBER 22 AT 10:00AM

A Service of Lessons and Carols tells the story of Christmas through scripture, hymns, and musical selections offered by both the Carillons handbell choir and the sanctuary choir. This Pluckemin tradition connects us with feelings of joy, peace and love as Christmas day nears. Coffee and light refreshments will be served afterward.

Blue Christmas

A Service of healing and hope

A Blue Christmas Service is offered especially for those hurting during the holidays. It’s often offered on or around the longest night of the year. At Pluckemin Presbyterian Church we are holding our Blue Christmas Service on Sunday, December 22nd at 7pm.

If you are mourning the death of a loved one, far from home and missing family, suffering from illness, addiction, or estrangement, lonely, struggling financially, in conflict with another or hurting because of the great pain, need, and violence in our nation and world, then join us. The reasons for coming are many. We gather in the midst of suffering to remember God is good. God is strong. God is near. We are not alone, and we have every reason to hold on to hope.

All are welcome
