you're invited to christmas at

pluckemin presbyterian church

It's a month of celebration! Throughout December there will be opportunities to deepen your faith and renew your Christmas spirit. It all starts with the kickoff of Advent on November 27th. We'll begin our new sermon series and host the annual Advent Workshop.  This year's workshop theme is "Christmas Around the World."  During the Sundays prior to Christmas, the Pluckemin Presbyterian Church invites you to a sermon series on Sunday mornings at 10am based on the book "The Dawn of Redeeming Grace - Daily Devotions for Advent" by Sinclair B. Ferguson. The sermon series will culminate on Christmas Eve, December 24th, with two special worship services. Read on for more details on all Christmas events!

christmas around the world

NOVEMBER 27TH AT 5:30PM

Kick off the Christmas season with this free Family Advent Workshop. Learn about Christmas traditions around the world through crafts and stories. Fun for all ages!

Tree Lighting and Concert DECEMBER 3RD AT 5PM

We invite the community to a free, indoor choral and handbell Christmas concert in the main Sanctuary at Pluckemin Presbyterian Church, located at 279 Route 202-206, Pluckemin, NJ. The concert will be followed by an outdoor tree lighting and carol sing. A great event for everyone to experience the spirit of Christmas!

Messy Church Christmas DECEMBER 13TH AT 6PM

We continue our celebration with Messy Church, our once a month on the second Tuesday church experience that celebrates the messiness of everyday life!  This monthly, mid-week gathering is intended for children, parents, and grandparents to come together for a light meal provided by the church, a brief Christian message, music and a craft or game appropriate for all in attendance.

“Messy Church” encourages kids and adults to get their hands dirty, learn from each other and just have fun, while eliminating the “age silos” that result from separate worship experiences common in most churches.

Registration is required so we know how much food to have!

Blue Christmas - A Service of healing and hope

A Blue Christmas Service is offered especially for those hurting during the holidays. It’s often offered on or around the longest night of the year. At Pluckemin Presbyterian Church we are holding our first Blue Christmas Service on Sunday December 18 at 6pm.

If you are mourning the death of a loved one, far from home and missing family, suffering from illness, addiction, or estrangement, lonely, struggling financially, in conflict with another or hurting because of the great pain, need, and violence in our nation and world, then join us. The reasons for coming are many. We gather in the midst of suffering to remember God is good. God is strong. God is near. We are not alone, and we have every reason to hold on to hope.

All are welcome
