The medical equipment ministry collects and distributes gently used medical equipment to the community. We have hospital beds, wheelchairs, motorized scooters, crutches, walkers, adult diapers, and more. The list is quite extensive and this ministry works locally and abroad. Working with Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity, we refurbished a building, known as the "Burd House", which sits on Pluckemin Church property. It is now the new headquarters of Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity.

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. We believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes, alongside volunteers, and pay an affordable mortgage. With our help, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.

YoungLives — Teen Parents

More than 20 years ago, Young Life answered God’s call to run headfirst into the chaos of teenage motherhood with the hope of Jesus ... and YoungLives was born. YoungLives has never wavered from the original vision to reach teen moms by entering their world, modeling the unconditional love of Christ, and encouraging them to become the women and mothers God created them to be. Through Young Life’s time-tested methods and life-on-life mentoring, teen moms are empowered to make positive choices, set and achieve goals, and live a future rooted in Christ.

NEW CITY KIDS

What happens when you empower at-risk teens to become role models for the kids in their neighborhood? You build confidence. You give hope. You share love. You transform lives. New City Kids is a ministry to the children and youth of Jersey City, Paterson, Grand Rapids and Detroit.

To walk with a child from age six to eighteen and to be an advocate, teacher, and mentor to that child. New City Kids aims to draw children into hope by developing in them skills, talents, and desires for their future.

By surrounding them with a community of love and development, New City Kids strives to set youth on a path of transformation that will carry them forward for the rest of their lives.

New City Kids was started by Rev. Trevor & Linda (Rogge) Rubingh (Linda grew up in Pluckemin Church).
